Originally from: I grew up in the Netherlands but spent most of my working career working for Siemens Digital Industries Software in the United States.
Currently based: These days, I’m back in the Netherlands and working closely together with my division colleagues at Digital Industries in Germany, allowing me to take my software background and integrate this further into our industrial automation business.
Education: Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Siemens tenure: Joined Siemens in 2003
Making a difference: At Siemens, I get to work on leading industrial software and technology to solve exciting business challenges and deliver on new innovations any day and every day. It is a real honor to be working with such a diverse team here at Siemens Digital Industries Software and bring our domain know-how together in new software solutions for the major industries we serve. I feel we can really make a difference with new levels of business digitalization we can deliver from Electronic Design Automation to Product Lifecycle Management, to Manufacturing Operations Management, and IIoT.
Passion for problem-solving: Our culture is very much ‘customer first' — from the software and technology we develop to the passion we have for solving big digitalization challenges our clients are facing. I’m motivated every day by our ability to combine the passion of my team with the problems that we can solve. It puts a smile on my face each time we work with customers and enhance their business with the software solutions we have to offer.
Salute: My favorite place to visit is Italy! In addition to spending time there on vacation, I had the pleasure of working with Stellantis FIAT in Naples for a full year. It was a great experience and luckily, I had plenty of time to enjoy the local culture and food. Bellissima!
Dad time: When I'm not in the office, you can find me enjoying time with my daughter Sophia. Nothing beats quality time with family!
